    Crunchy Za'atar Cannellini Beans

    These crunchy za'atar cannellini beans are the best high protein snack!! I love having them on hand and snacking away. They're perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and require only 6 ingredients and 5-minutes of prep time.

    Cannellini Beans

    Cannellini Beans are the perfect base for this recipe, however, if you don't like cannellini beans feel free to sub garbanzo or a different favorite.

    These beans are tender with a nutty and earthy flavor to them. They are nutritional powerhouses packed with fiber and protein. They're also a great source of folate, magnesium, and vitamin B6- all various micronutrients.

    When I'm eating a snack, one of the most important qualities is ensuring it will keep me full. Due to the protein content in cannellini beans, these crunchy beans will keep you full.

    The Process to make Crunch Za'atar Cannellini Beans

    This recipe is super simple! All you need to do is gather your spices in a bowl and mix them together. Drain your cannellini beans then add them to a bowl. Add your avocado oil then your seasonings on top and mix.

    Spread out your beans on a lined baking sheet then pop them in the oven until they're crisp (about 35-45 minutes). Allow them to cool for a bit, then enjoy!

    I love how they only take 5-minutes to prepare. I've been replacing my chips with these beans and they go really well with flavored nuts to add even more crunch.

    These crunchy za'atar cannellini beans are the perfect well seasoned plant-based snack that will keep you full from the protein!

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 15 oz cannellini bean
    • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
    • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
    • 1 tablespoon za'atar
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon salt

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat your oven to 425F.
    • Rinse and drain your cannellini beans then toss together with your seasonings and oil.
    • Spread out over a lined baking sheet making sure they don't touch
    • Put in the oven for 35-45 min, tossing half way through
    • Enjoy!
