Looking for a quick and delicious side dish in the fall (or any season)?! I love switching up potato fries for these delicata squash fries! They are perfectly crunchy, chewy, and delicious! I love dipping them in ketchup or various dips (hummus, tzatziki, baba ganoush, the list goes on and on!).

    Delicata Squash

Nutritionally, delicata squash is a powerhouse. It's packed with dietary fiber. This contributes to digestive health and helps keep you feeling full longer. This attribute makes these fries not just delicious but also satisfying, curbing the appetite in a wholesome way.

Rich in vitamins A and C, delicata squash supports immune function and skin health. It offers antioxidant properties that protect against cellular damage. Vitamin A is crucial for vision health and cell growth. While vitamin C aids in the repair of body tissues and the efficient absorption of iron from plant-based foods.

Additionally, delicata squash provides a good source of potassium. Potassium is an essential mineral for maintaining healthy blood pressure levels and supporting heart health. Its magnesium content also plays a vital role in muscle function, nervous system regulation, and energy production.

    Fries & Dipping Sauce

These Delicata Squash Fries are effortlessly seasoned and baked to perfection, achieving a crispy exterior with a tender, flavorful interior. By opting for baking instead of frying, this recipe significantly reduces the fat content without compromising the fries' satisfying crunch.

Served with your favorite dipping sauce or simply seasoned with sea salt and herbs, Delicata Squash Fries offer a guilt-free way to indulge your fry cravings. They're not just a treat for the taste buds but also a boon to your health, proving that delicious and nutritious can indeed go hand in hand.
