Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen mangoes
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • ¼-1/2 cup non-dairy milk to start

Toppings

  • Chia Seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Fresh Fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries)
  • Granola (nuts, dry fruit, chocolate)

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender.
  • The trick to getting thick smoothie bowls (my favorite) is to start with a small amount of liquid at the bottom of the blender, then pile on your frozen fruits and finally powders on top. The frozen fruits (especially bananas) help make it thick
  • Start blending and use a “blender plunger” to move the fruits around and incorporate more
  • You can add more liquid if your fruit is getting too stuck. I recommend starting with ¼ cup of non-dairy milk then add more when needed
  • Top with whatever toppings you’d like and enjoy!
  • This is best eaten immediately but you can store it in your fridge for 1-2 days.
